DAY 1
ATLANTA IN MOTION
Explore Atlanta’s downtown core through slow shutters and dynamic compositions. Capture the pulse of the city – light trails, street scenes, reflections, and unexpected geometry. We’ll walk through iconic intersections, observing the rhythm of urban life.
DAY 2
OLD CAR CITY
We’ll spend the day exploring one of the most surreal outdoor junkyards in the world – where hundreds of vintage cars sleep beneath a canopy of trees. I’ll show you how to work with natural light and composition to bring out texture, mood, and story. From rust patterns to chrome details overtaken by moss, we’ll focus on creating cinematic frames that evoke time, memory, and abandonment. It’s a masterclass in color, contrast, and atmosphere – through the lens of decay.
DAY 3
GIBBS GARDEN
In this sanctuary of flowers, ponds, and winding paths, we’ll work with light, layering, and color t o create images that feel painterly and intentional. From delicate blooms to sculptural trees, we’ll explore framing techniques t o capture botanical scenes, reflections, and serene vignettes. We’ll also spend time i n the Japanese Garden – one of the most peaceful and visually rich areas – focusing on symmetry, minimalism, and harmony in composition. Whether you’re into macro textures o r wide, dreamy landscapes, this day invites you t o slow down and let nature guide your frame.
DAY 4
STREET COLOR & URBAN STORIES
We’ll dive into Atlanta’s most expressive corners – from the graffiti-drenched walls of Krog Street Tunnel to the bold, eclectic energy of the BeltLine, Ponce City Mtarket, and Little Five Points. This final day is all about movement, color, and storytelling through human presence and place. We’ll focus on street portraiture, candid moments, and how to frame people within murals, shadows, and light. You’ll learn to build visual rhythm — connecting sequences of images that speak with energy and emotion. Expect vibrant scenes, layered compositions, and the freedom to experiment.
